Affectionately known to all as Tony

A Brooklyn native - born and raised in Prospect Heights - Tony attended public grammar and high school in the Fort Greene and Clinton Hill neighborhoods. His interest in community affairs began during his formative years while being raised in a single parent household. Tony’s mother, the sole breadwinner and a dedicated school aide for over 30 years in the NYC public school system before passing of Cancer in 1999, instilled in him core family values, a solid work ethic and the desire to serve others.

In 1983

During Tony’s early teenage years, the onset of gentrification caused Tony and his family to become homeless. They lived as squatters in an abandon building. That experience was the foundation upon which Tony’s commitment to community service was built. Today, Tony stands in the gap to provide a voice for those who can’t speak for themselves.

Tony currently serves as the President/CEO and Chairman of the Multi-Cultural Restaurant & Night Life Chamber of Commerce, and as the Founder and President of the Advocates Without Borders Network. He is an executive committee member of the NAACP-NYCHA Branch Chapter; Executive Vice President of Youth Step USA; Chair of the African American International Chamber of Commerce; member in good standing of The Most Worshipful Prince Hall Masons of NY and a proud member of United Goodwill Temple Community Church!

Tony was employed as: Special Assistant to former New York City Councilwoman Priscilla Wooten; Special Assistant to former Congressman Edolphus Towns, and Statewide Director of African American Affairs for the NY State Senate Minority Re-apportionment Task Force. He was formerly employed as a Vocational/Educational Specialist for a Mentally Ill Homeless Woman's Shelter in the East New York section of Brooklyn.

Through his position as Vice President for Government Affairs for the multi-cultural Madison Ave marketing and advertising firm -The Vital Marketing Group, Tony developed strong relationships in media. He has been a featured guest, host and commentator on national and local radio/television news broadcasts including: CNN, Radio One, TV One, The Tom Joyner Morning Show, Geraldo Rivera, Fox News, The Ernie Anastos Show, WBLS Open Line, Hot 97 with Lisa Evers, CBS, WABC, News 12, The John Gambling Show, and The Brooklyn Archdiocese News Network Currents.

Tony frequently appears on the nightly news speaking out on issues such as: New York City Housing; Gang & Gun Violence; Homelessness; Affordable Housing; Politics; Sex Trafficking and Missing and Exploited Children.

Tony maintains relationships in the financial industry stemming from his former service as Senior Vice President of Government Relations and Small Business Development for Bridgepoint Capital and Business Concierge for North Fork Bank.
